I don't have any great skills to offer, I'll admit that, but I'm a good person. I cry at sappy commercials; I'm outraged by ignorance. I don't believe in extremes - I think it is the pathway to "E-ville, like the fru-its of the Dev-ille" (You're my kind of person if you know the source of that quote).

Why is our culture all about celebrating celebrity? I think the people who listen to the stories of others, the soothers, the quiet folk who aren't pushing to be on camera, they deserve recognition too, dammit.
