(Just signed in to post a funny photo I came across recently and realized I never posted this entry! Written a couple months ago. Here you are.)

My boss has been cutting this memory video for her husband Peter over the last couple days. Her husband opened and ran the French restaurant Campagne here in Seattle for many years, and now the five-year buyout plan he agreed to in 2000 is officially over. Last night there was a surprise party for him at the restaurant, honoring him and his legacy. Two things:

1. The boss lady was a little pinched for time, so everyone in the office helped her with the video. My contributuion: Crafting a few funny pictures to start out the video. Peter loves all things French, so I composited "French" items onto legitimate photos. Really silly but fun. One's posted below. It involves a hammy guitar.

2. One of tracks used in the video, at the end, is a lovely ballad by Ms. Carla Bruni - Oui, le supermodel. Unfair that Ms. Bruni is a staggeringly beautiful woman who can also sing a sweet melody, but I do want the record.
